The activity is suitable for everyone from around age 4 and up, and you’ll receive close guidance throughout. Watch as a glowing mass becomes an Easter egg, a Christmas heart, or a small vase – all blown by you.

A memory you created yourself
Glassblowing is a fascinating and sensory experience. You can feel the heat from the furnaces, watch the colours and shapes develop, and create something completely unique with your own hands.
The glass needs to cool for at least an hour and a half after blowing, so we recommend starting your visit with this activity. That way, you will have plenty of time to explore the shops and take a break while you wait.
The item you create is symbolic and is not intended for use or sale. It represents your participation in the experience rather than a finished product.

The glassworks has free admission, and everyone is welcome to come in and see the craft in action – even if you’re not blowing glass yourself.
We have been making glass at Hadeland for over 260 years and still use the same traditional techniques. Come feel the heat, see the intensity – and step into the world of glass!

When you buy a ticket, you’ll receive a QR code. Scan it and follow your place in line in real time! You can safely grab a coffee, shop, or look around while you wait your turn.

The glassblowing menu changes throughout the year – so there’s always something new to create:

- Pre-Christmas: Christmas ornaments and hearts
Each item is unique – its shape is influenced by your blowing technique, and the colors can vary from day to day.
