Plaza Hotel
The lounge area at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo
Hadeland Glassverk has supplied Crystal Stone lighting in hand-blown glass. The installation emphasizes exclusive design, enhances the spatial experience, and demonstrates how tailored project lighting can elevate hotel interiors.
Oslo Plaza - Lounge Area
Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is a landmark in Oslo city centre and one of the city's most exclusive hotels. In the upgrade of the lounge area, the aim was to strengthen the hotel's identity through thoughtful lighting.
Interior architect Hanna Guriby designed a scattering of Crystal Stone models from Hadeland Glassverk throughout the lounge area. The installation creates rhythm, movement, and a warm glow that highlights material choices and architecture.
Crystal Stone is mouth-blown in Hadeland, Norway, and is characterized by its organic expression and vibrant play of light in the glass. When the spheres are hung at different heights, they create a sophisticated and ethereal look that adds depth and elegance to the room.
The lighting enhances the hotel's reputation and demonstrates how Norwegian-made craftsmanship can contribute to an exclusive atmosphere in hotel and lounge projects.
