The ICON classic glass from Hadeland Glassverk is 23.5 cm tall and holds 70 cl, designed especially for wines from Burgund based one the grape of Chardonnay og Aligoté. The glass can also be recommended for the Chenin Blac wines from South-Africa.
This wine glass was developed in collaboration with top wine experts and Norway’s most skilled glassblowers, as part of a unique glass series comprising specially designed glasses. The series is tailored for optimal aroma and taste experiences, and also includes carafes for red and white wine, as well as a water glass.
Design director Maud Gj. Bugge led the development together with wine expert Martin Arentz and other professionals, and their work has resulted in a wine glass that stands out at an international level, recognized by wine journalist Geir Salvesen: “Norway now has a wine glass at an international quality level.”
Despite their elegant and delicate appearance, the glasses from the ICON series are durable enough to withstand the dishwasher and retain their clear shine over time.
