Product description
Kumi small vase in green and beige is a sculptural piece of art glass designed by Celine Stene Syverud. The collection was developed in close collaboration with Hadeland Glassverk's Head of Design, Maud Gjeruldsen Bugge, and the glassworks' experienced glassblowers, and is mouth-blown at Hadeland Glassverk.
Celine draws much of her inspiration from Japanese aesthetics, where simple forms, balance and the natural beauty of materials are central. The collection's Japanese names each carry their own meaning. Kumi means "forever beautiful" and reflects the vase's timeless expression. The distinctive spiral embracing the form evokes a sense of continuity, adding a calm and organic movement to the glass.
The muted green and beige tones create a natural and harmonious expression that highlights the sculptural form. Beautiful with flowers or displayed on its own, the vase brings warmth, tranquillity and exceptional craftsmanship into any interior.
Small variations in shape, size and colour are a natural part of the handmade process, making every vase unique.
