Product description
Kumi large vase in pink and green is a sculptural piece of art glass designed by Celine Stene Syverud. The collection was developed in close collaboration with Hadeland Glassverk's Head of Design, Maud Gjeruldsen Bugge, and the glassworks' experienced glassblowers, where contemporary design meets centuries of Norwegian craftsmanship.
Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, Celine has given the collection names with symbolic meanings. Kumi means "forever beautiful" and reflects the vase's harmonious design. The distinctive spiral embracing the form evokes a sense of continuity, adding depth, movement and a vibrant character to the glass.
Each vase is mouth-blown at Hadeland Glassverk and stands as a work of art in its own right. The soft pastel shades of pink and green enhance its sculptural form, whether displayed with flowers or on its own as a striking decorative object.
Small variations in shape, size and colour are a natural part of the handmade process, making every vase unique.
