Mari bowl in pink is a sculptural piece of art glass designed by Celine Stene Syverud. The collection was developed in close collaboration with Hadeland Glassverk's Head of Design, Maud Gjeruldsen Bugge, and the glassworks' experienced glassblowers, and is mouth-blown at Hadeland Glassverk.
The Japanese inspiration is reflected in both the forms and the names. Mari means "rebellion" and represents movement, contrast and the freedom to challenge convention. The distinctive spiral gives the bowl a dynamic expression that reveals new details from every angle.
Layers of soft pink create a harmonious expression that highlights the sculptural form. Beautiful as an art object on its own or used for fruit and decorative arrangements.
Small variations in shape, size and colour are a natural part of the handmade process, making every bowl unique.
