Born 1991 – based in Oslo. Anna Berg Gjendem is an artist based in Oslo. In spring 2024, she completed a bachelor's degree in medium- and material-based art at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, and she is a member of Norske Kunsthåndverkere. Gjendem's artistic practice is rooted in drawing and printmaking. Through viscosity printing and lithography, she explores how we experience the world through our senses. Her works present anatomical cross-sections of the body's sensory organs, and through experimenting with glue and acid, she develops organic, tactile structures that enhance the sensory expression of the work.
