Cathrine Dahl and Ørjan Aas Born 1980 and 1981 – based in Hønefoss. Cathrine Dahl (b. 1980, Hønefoss) and Ørjan Aas (b. 1981, Sauda) both hold a master’s degree from the Academy of Fine Art at NTNU in Trondheim. Their close collaboration results in a graphic expression characterized by interplay, where elements shift and change in a continuous movement. Dahl and Aas have a particularly dedicated and exploratory approach to printmaking. Their practice is marked by openness to new methods and a willingness to challenge traditional boundaries of graphic art. The duo has received several grants, been nominated for Queen Sonja’s Art Award, and exhibited at, among others, Norske Grafikere, Trøndelag Center for Contemporary Art, Hubei Museum of Art, and the National Museum in Brazil. Their works have been acquired by, among others, Letter Stiftung and Haugesund Art Association.
