YOUTH ARENA

Fanny Möller

Born in 1999 – based in Oslo. Fanny Möller is a Swedish artist with a background in metalworking. She works with sculpture and installation, drawing inspiration from found, everyday objects – such as faucets, ski poles, handles, and wheels – which she places in new and often unexpected contexts. Her works draw inspiration from Dadaism, Surrealism, and phenomenology, and explore how we perceive objects through our own and collective memories. By combining the familiar with the unfamiliar, she explores the boundary between the poetic and the repulsive, the safe and the unsettling. She challenges our understanding of function, body, and form, using installation and assemblage to approach subconscious layers of meaning.
