Born 1982 – based in Bergen. Katrin Berge is a Norwegian artist and illustrator living in Bergen, where she draws inspiration from the surrounding nature and forest. Growing up close to the woods and sea shaped her eye for animals, insects, and wild creatures – a fascination that has only grown over the years. Berge works with graphics and creates detailed works in which fauna, animals, and fantastical beings are interwoven in motifs that often move in a surreal and dark visual language.
