Born in 1998 – currently living in Kråkerøy. Nora Sandbæk is a landscape architect educated at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). During her studies, she developed a deep interest in ecology and the interconnectedness of nature, which is reflected in her art. In her drawings, Sandbæk creates colorful and imaginative universes, often populated by animals, people, and surreal landscapes. She describes her process as follows: “My lines create a cast of characters made from colors, thoughts, and feelings. Sometimes I welcome new people into my pictures and didn’t know they would be part of the image until they appeared.”
