BURGUNDY RED

The ICON Pinot Noir glass from Hadeland Glassverk is 24.5 cm tall and holds 70 cl, designed especially for Pinot Noir-based wines such as Burgundy, Barolo, and Barbaresco. The glass’s wide bowl allows complex flavors to develop and emerge.

This wine glass was developed in collaboration with top wine experts and Norway’s most skilled glassblowers, as part of a unique glass series comprising nine specially designed glasses. The series is tailored for optimal aroma and taste experiences, and also includes two carafes for red and white wine, as well as a water glass.

Design director Maud Gj. Bugge led the development together with wine expert Martin Arentz and other professionals, and their work has resulted in a wine glass that stands out at an international level, recognized by wine journalist Geir Salvesen: “Norway now has a wine glass at an international quality level.”

Despite their elegant and delicate appearance, the glasses from the ICON series are durable enough to withstand the dishwasher and retain their clear shine over time.
