SIRI from Hadeland Glassverk, signed by the award-winning Norwegian glass designer Willy Johansson, was launched in 1954. Johansson wanted to create a new collection of everyday glassware that was beautiful, yet affordable and accessible to everyone. The Siri products, with their distinctive ridges, broke away from the conventional glass shapes of the time, and the launch of Siri was considered revolutionary in the history of pressed glass.
Hadeland Glassverk is relaunching Siri for the delight of all who love Norwegian design. The series is based on Willy Johansson’s original 1953 drawings and now includes brand new products by designer Christian Svinddal.
