Hanabi is a series of candle holders inspired by Japan and traditional Japanese wax candles, Warosoku.
The soft curve of the glass mirrors the shape of a flame and highlights the flame’s movement and its ability to create calm.
The word Hanabi means fireworks in Japanese and consists of the characters ? (Hana), meaning flower, and ? (Hi/Bi), which describes a shining fire. The candle holders also make beautiful vases.
Designed by Christian Svinddal for Hadeland Glassverk.
The vases are mouth-blown and polished at Hadeland Glassverk.
