The Arkivlamp 4006 was first produced in 1932 and is therefore the oldest of the revitalized lamps from Hadeland Glassverk. 4006 is also the most iconic archive lamp, due to its unique shape, which was originally developed for optimal light distribution. The three glass shades disperse the light at different angles, while most of the light is directed downward.

4006 is a design icon, a lamp that is just as contemporary and relevant in 2020 as it was in 1932.

The archive lamps from Hadeland Glassverk are new productions of Norwegian design icons created by Jonas Hidle and Arnulf Bjørshol in the mid-1900s. All lamps are mouth-blown and hand-polished using traditional methods by skilled craftsmen at Hadeland Glassverk. Clean the globe with a dry, clean, lint-free cloth. We recommend our glass cloth (microfiber cloth) for 59,- available in our online store. Do not use cleaning agents with abrasives or solvents. Bulb recommendations: Calex LED dimmable E27 810lm 7W (white bulb) and Osram LED dimmable E27 470lm 4W clear (clear bulb).
