The soda technique, which first became popular in the 1950s, creates a bubble effect in the glass. Glassblowers achieve this effect by sprinkling mineral powder onto the sphere and reheating it before finishing the blowing process in the mold. It is during reheating that the small bubbles appear, creating a completely unique pattern for each sphere.

All our crystal spheres are mouth-blown and hand-cut at Hadeland Glassverk. More than seven artisans add their personal touch to the lamp before it is sent to your home. All the crystal spheres are based on exquisite and precise craftsmanship and quality.

Clean the globe with a dry, clean, lint-free cloth. We recommend our glass cloth (microfiber cloth) for 59,- available in our online store. Do not use cleaning agents with abrasives or solvents. Bulb recommendations: Calex LED dimmable E14 390lm, white or clear bulb.
