SODA DAWN RED 160MM

The Soda Dawn Red pendant lamp combines traditional glass craftsmanship with a playful and elegant expression. The soda technique, which became particularly popular in the 1950s, gives the glass its characteristic bubble pattern. The effect occurs when the glassblower sprinkles mineral powder on the hot glass sphere before it is reheated and blown into its final shape. During this process, small air bubbles form, trapped within the glass mass, creating a unique, lively pattern in every crystal sphere.

All crystal spheres from Hadeland Glassverk are mouth-blown and hand-ground by our skilled glassblowers and grinders. More than seven different craftspeople contribute to each lamp, giving every piece a truly personal character. The warm Dawn Red color adds a soft and elegant glow to the room, fitting equally well in modern homes and classic interiors. The lamp works excellently both alone and in combination with several, for example, above a dining table, kitchen island, or in the living room. The design is signed by Maud Gj. Bugge and reflects our long history of quality and precision.
