About the artist
Björg Thorhallsdottir (b. 1974) has Icelandic-Norwegian roots and is a beloved artist, author, and speaker. She has exhibited around 300 times since her debut at age 19 – and is also known today from TV shows such as Forræder, Sofa, and Farmen Kjendis.
She works in a naive figurative style and conveys strong values like love, joy, and peace through paintings, graphics, stained glass, and mosaics. Björg wants to make the world a little better with her art – and invites you into her personal universe of warmth and reflection.
