When Norgesglass canning jars first went into production at Hadeland Glassverk in 1902, they were above all a practical everyday product. The jars made it possible to preserve fruit, berries, vegetables and other foods for use throughout the year.
More than 120 years later, our kitchens may have changed, but the idea behind Norgesglasset is just as relevant: take care of what you have, keep using it, and fill the jar again.
