About the series

In 2014, Design Director Maud Gjeruldsen Bugge created the Crystal Sphere series in seven patterns, seven elegant colours and three sizes. The aim was to give customers the freedom to compose a lamp that is both unique and personal. Each sphere is mouth-blown using the same centuries-old techniques as 260 years ago, with five of the patterns hand-cut in the glass-cutting workshop at Hadeland Glassverk. In 2019, the series was nominated for “Product of the Year” at the Norwegian Lighting Awards.

Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship and variation

One of the advantages of handcrafted products is variation – every sphere has its own unique character in colour, pattern and shape. More than ten artisans leave their mark on each lamp before it arrives in your home.

Unique lighting for your home

The Crystal Sphere series gives you endless possibilities. Whether you choose one lamp as a statement piece or create a cluster in different patterns and colours, you can design lighting that perfectly fits your home.
