MASTERPIECES OF GRAPHIC ART

Rino Larsen

Rino Larsen is a Norwegian visual artist who works with paper-based art and original prints, where his artistic language explores and finds the relationship between the inner and outer landscape. His works exist in a tension between the figurative and the abstract, where motifs often appear fragmented or in transformation. Through a process-oriented approach, Larsen builds up his compositions in layers, where color, structure, and materiality play a central role. This layering creates visual depth that invites the viewer into a space for reflection, where themes such as identity, belonging, and time are central. Inspired by both nature's organic forms and the rhythms of urban spaces, he develops an artistic language that balances the intuitive and the controlled. His works can be experienced as both sensory and conceptual, with an underlying interest in how experience and memories manifest visually. Larsen has participated in several group and solo exhibitions, and his works have been shown in various galleries and art spaces. Alongside his artistic practice, he is concerned with the role of art in society and has been involved in projects that promote art in public and accessible spaces.
