Mari bowl in violet and green is a sculptural piece of art glass designed by Celine Stene Syverud. The collection was developed in close collaboration with Hadeland Glassverk's Head of Design, Maud Gjeruldsen Bugge, and the glassworks' experienced glassblowers, and is mouth-blown at Hadeland Glassverk.
The Japanese inspiration is reflected in both the forms and the names. Mari means "rebellion" and represents movement, contrast and the courage to challenge convention. The distinctive spiral adds rhythm and depth, revealing new details from every angle.
The combination of violet and green creates a striking balance between cool and warm tones. Beautiful as a sculptural art object or used for fruit, decorative arrangements and personal interior styling.
Small variations in shape, size and colour are a natural part of the handmade process, making every bowl unique.
