The glass has been in production for more than 50 years and is still mouth-blown and handcrafted at Hadeland Glassverk using traditional techniques that continue Norway’s proud craftsmanship and design heritage.
The distinctive twisted stem is inspired by twisted tree trunks and the historic Nøstetangen glasses. The sculptural stem gives the glass an elegant expression and a stable feel in the hand — a signature detail that makes the Peer Gynt collection instantly recognisable.
