Peer Gynt shot glass 5 cl is a Norwegian design classic created by Willy Johansson in 1971. The glass has been in production for more than 50 years and is still mouth-blown and handcrafted at Hadeland Glassverk using traditional techniques that continue Norway’s proud craftsmanship and design heritage.
The distinctive twisted stem is inspired by twisted tree trunks and the historic Nøstetangen glasses. The sculptural stem gives the glass an elegant expression while also providing a stable and comfortable grip.
The slender shape is designed for serving aquavit and spirits, creating a refined and ceremonial serving experience around the table. The Peer Gynt collection combines function, elegance and genuine craftsmanship in a design language that has made the series a lasting Norwegian classic.
