Archive lamp 4180 is also called the Viking Lamp, because it was designed for Hotel Viking in 1951 by Arnulf Bjørshol. The hotel was the largest in the Nordics when it opened in downtown Oslo for the 1952 Winter Olympics.

The archive lamps from Hadeland Glassverk are new productions of Norwegian design icons, designed by Jonas Hidle and Arnulf Bjørshol in the mid-1900s. All lamps are mouth-blown and hand-polished using traditional methods by skilled craftsmen at Hadeland Glassverk.
