Ceiling Lamp 4280 Smoky Gray

The Arkivlamp 4280 was first introduced in the Høvik Verk Lighting Catalog in 1965, where it was presented alongside seven other glass pendant lamps, all produced at Høvik Verk, which at the time was part of Hadeland Glassverk.

In 2019, this lamp was brought back to life, now in white opal glass, matte white, smoke gray, and steel blue. The lamp is also available as a dimmable table lamp. Opal and smoke gray are available with a base in either black or solid brass, while the steel blue version comes only with a black base.

The archive lamps from Hadeland Glassverk are new productions of Norwegian design icons created by Jonas Hidle and Arnulf Bjørshol in the mid-20th century. All lamps are mouth-blown and hand-polished using traditional methods by skilled craftsmen at Hadeland Glassverk.
